Becky, you do have your hands full. For those who deny auto-immune runs in families, you prove my case. Ours came from my Grandmother (don't know how far back before her, nobody knows. She was bedridden for may years, and back then everything was called pleurisy), through all of my Fathers' Family (almost every one of them had or has one kind or another. Some of them have more than one kind. My Sister, and my niece have 4 types each. My Rheumatologist told me I am the lucky one - I only have RA. No one has identified ET as auto-immune, but I have my suspicions. It is definitely familial. Keep on doing what you're doing. Keep in touch. We'll be here for you. Fran
