I try to walk as much as I can, but the chair aerobics sounds like fun emoticon I will have to do an Ebay/Amazon search to see if I can find it. Thanks for the great suggestions!!

Welcome to the team! I would suggest water aerobics because the water acts as a cushion. You just need to watch not to over do it because you will feel it later.

One morning last year I saw a TV promotion for the chair aerobics. Now that you have mentioned it. ... I think I'll look it up and get the DVD.

Hi lady!
Are you able to walk? I love walking whenever I can but when my RA was at it's worst I did water aerobics, which was something I could handle and it actually made me feel better! I also found a great chair aerobics dvd that helped me out a bunch. Go to the main arthritis website and they might have it there.

Hi everyone. I am 27 years old and I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I have problems with my knees and elbows and have been finding it difficult to get in my workouts lately because of the pain. Does anyone have any suggestions?
