problem with water aerobics for me is ,, the cost, it cost 250 dollars for membership fee a year , and 76 dollars a month to join the Y here, and the public pool is so crowded you can barely move. And of course I have no pool at home. So really water aerobics are out for me.

I too have arthritis in my hip and I went to rehab and learned some new exercises that I can do when I am in the pool at the gym. I also have exercises that I do at home. They help some but the pain is still the worst when I am in bed trying to sleep. Not much else I can share in the fight against this pain. Nancy

Hi , I am 48 yrs old and have Osteo in my hips ,, but I have noticed lately that all my joints hurt at one time or another through out the day. I have trouble sleeping at night because my joints hurt, I am not on any prescription meds at this time. I do take arthritis strength tylenol when the pain gets bad, I soak in a hot tub of water for comfort and use ice packs at times.
Trouble is when I exercise the pain can get so bad I have to stop then I procrastinate cause I don't want the pain to come back.
