Welcome to the team, as others already advised talk to your doctor, I had both hips replaced last year after years of agonizing pain I do not believe my doctor would recommend the shoe you described, but it is all up to you, sometimes what makes us feel better at one time bites us later
I've never heard of this particular shoe. If I were you I would talk to my doctor about them and get online and do some research. I have arthritis in both hips and know what your talking about limping. The shoes I found are the Nike dual fusion to help me out. But I have arthritis in my feet too. You might consider talking to a Physical Therapist too they can help get you on a good exercise program that will help you out. Good Luck on your journey.

Hi! I only found out a week ago that I have arthritis of the left hip. I'd been experiencing pain in that area for about 12-18 months but didn't get around to seeing my doctor about it until last week, Until last week I just chalked it up to ' getting older' (I'm 47 y.o.) I just wanted to share something with anyone in this team who has a similar situation to mine: 3 days ago I bought a pair 'exersteps" runners. They're a much cheaper (but just as good) version of 'shape Ups", you know the runners that are supposed to firm and tone your legs and butt just by walking in them. Anyhow, I read somewhere that this style of shoe also makes walking easier on your joints, which is why I bought them and since I've been wearing them my hip pain is greatly diminished and I don't walk with such a pronounced limp as I used to. If anyone knows of any harm I may be doing by wearing these shoes, I'd love to know.
