I am also on the Synvisc Shots. I had one in Dec. At first I thought it wasn't going to work, but after about 4 weeks there was a noticeable difference and it continued to improve. I just contacted my orthopaedic surgeon to make arrangements for another shot next month. You can have them every 6 months, and I have been able to really put off surgery and improve my mobility.

Have you tried the SYNVISC-ONE shots? They are a gel that the body accepts and it goes inbetween the knee bones and cushions it and make the pain go away and the walks a lot easier. I have been on them a year now and put off knee replacement. Ask your dr. about the shots or read about them on here.

Good Luck with your Spark Journey. I hope your arthritis behaves itself. I have OA so I know how your feel about walking. I have it in my hips, knee's and spine so I know about pain when trying to walk. I live in UT so I know about the walking trails too. I haven't attepted them yet. Good Luck

Hello everyone, I'm new to the group (not to spark though) I am a stay at home mommy with two incredible kiddos and a wonderful hubby. I have arthritis in my left knee (ost) my fav workout is walking with my doggies (and sometimes kids) but there are some days I have to take a break because of the knee pain. I live in Colorado so there are lots of trails for me to walk and the family and I go camping yearly I hate having to do the limp up a steep trail but I hate to quit so I just keep pushing myself sometimes through horrid pain...I hope to make some new spark buds!
