So, there is an Air Force team on here! Good to know, just need to 'sucker' some of my guys to start using this!
I am a TSgt currently deployed to an "undisclosed location is southwest asia" and am looking to get my fat butt moving and best my last PT test from before I left. I joined spark back in May and did well for about a week before the Groundhog Day effect got me. Spent the last month and a half eating too much (chow hall here is wicked awesome!). Ended up gaining an additional 10 lbs in one month and obviously pushed my goals back a bit.
But I'm up and moving again, already got 3 runs in this week and am happy that I didn't completely reset over the last month. I have struggled with the PT test since it came out in 2k4 and have always been fail/pass/fail/pass/fail (you get the idea!) Well, I finally came on the bad point of if I fail again....I'm done (yup, #4 if I were to fail again). My bumped out an 83.3 last test after 6 mos on the wonderful FIP. Needless to say, I'm tired of bouncing back and forth and fully intend to not only pass in October, but to get a better score than last time. I have all the time in the world here, which is good and bad....mostly bad with the abundant food available...sigh.
At any rate, I look forward to talking to others in the group and staying motivated to get this done and keep going when I'm done with this deployment!
And that's all I have to say about that....for now!
