... okay, I kid, I kid.

But on a slightly more serious note, I agree and have seen the same. I think it goes further, though, and you can't really separate this stuff *all the time.* That is, you can't entirely separate the SparkPeople life-changing stuff from the god-botherers in all people, as look at how many people for whom the SparkPeople experience becomes a "born again" sort of moment, not just a tool/instrument; it becomes another thing to put faith in or cling to, etc. See also: AA & 12-step programs (I'm not making an argument about whether they work for people). Anyway, just an aside.

I know what you mean. I wish they would keep that stuff to the God groups. I don't foist my beliefs (or non-beliefs) on them.

Hello!!
I thought I would introduce myself - I am not new to Spark, but am new to this group. I've been feeling a little discouraged with SparkPeople lately, mainly because there seems to be more and more God-love (which is fine) and have felt a little alienated. Luckily I found this group!!
