Ok. I will also try to figure out ways for those that don't have or can't buy a pedometer at the moment. If some have smart phones (blackberry, iphone, galaxy, etc.) there are apps that can be downloaded to track steps; for example Pedometer FREE (iphone). But if everyone can't get apps or a pedometer we may can try tracking miles or time instead.

Well, that would be tricky, unless they want to count all their steps along the way. Pretty impossible, right? If members have a pedometer and want to participate, they will enroll. If they don't have one, but want to participate, they would need to get one. You can buy one for about $10 at almost any drug or department store, or places like Big Lots, & Walmart. I can look some up and put together a list of suggestions or locations, with pricing, if you want. But I can't do it today I have a killer work day ahead of me.
OK?

@CROWLEY123 great idea! How can we let those without pedometers participate?

How about a 5K a day challenge?
Not running, or walking 5k each day, but just walking 5,000 steps a day.
Participants would need a pedometer, and remember to wear it all day, but it can be fun and very motivating to watch the steps and the distance you cover each day add up!
Just a thought!

Post some new ideas for us to choose from in September
I like this idea! Could you post a breakdown of cardio activity into miles for us? Thanks!
Note to myself- Eat smaller portions and more vegetables!

Lol Yes!! That would be more of a challenge. Like go from country to country. For example the miles from U.S. to Japan, then Japan to Hawaii or something like that :)

Maybe we could do something like "walk across the country" where everyone adds their mileage daily, accumulatively. It may be fun to see how far we get.

Lance,
I loove your ideas. I have a pretty picture for February and will be uploading it on the 1st. I will think of some creative ways to do before and after piks, not sure everyone would be that brave lol. The romantic recipes will be a nice addition to our team!

Key,
Maybe a new picture of a heart (Isn't february heart month?) or maybe a team saying. Also maybe we can post before and after pictures (reason I mention that is I just found a before picture of me that shows me at my heaviest).
Maybe also some slimmed down romantic recipes for the 14th.

Come here to give ideas of what you would like to see around our team? What would help to motivate more? How can we improve fitness, nutrition, and motivation tools. Also a new name idea.
