I also turn 40 in May 2013 and I decided to really do something about my lifestyle. I got an xbox for grad school graduation and I am starting to use it to get some exercise. I am glad I found this team!

Welcome to the team! I use a HRM that tracks time, heart rate, and calories burned. That gives the best, IMO, calories burned numbers. I do Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012. I try to do 60 mins a night but don't always make that goal. I know how you feel about the late night working out. I have to wait until hubby goes to bed. emoticon

I am so happy I found this group. I have decided that I need to get fit before I hit 40 which gives me until May 2013 to lose 62lbs....5 down and counting. I am a single mother that works two jobs which means that often the only time I have to workout is late at night. If I didn't have a Kinect I would never get any exercise in. My favorite is Fruit Ninja (also good for getting out frustration) I also play Dance Central and Kinect Adventures. Does anyone have any advice for tracking your fitness minutes/calories burned? I can only find Wii exercises on the tracker.
I joined SP a few years ago and only stuck with it for a few weeks, but then I didn't use the message boards or any of the other social tools for support. I now know that I can't do this alone or I'll give up.
