"Tenacity is the quality displayed by someone who just won't quit -- who keeps trying until they reach their goal. Anything really worth doing takes persistence, perseverance, and stubborn determination! I AM a Tenacious Jungle Tiger and these are my survival skills!!"
My first time around, I was around 26, single, and using the excuse that I was too busy with work and school to get fit. What a lie that was.
Now I'm about to hit 31, I work and I'm busy at home with a 9 month-old baby and I STILL have a problem with my weight. Even more so, actually- I'm now 204 pounds at 4' 11 1/2" tall, my doctor says I'll surely have diabetes soon if I don't get my diet and weight in check, and I sometimes get intense knee pain because my job is sedentary and I don't move around enough.
So I got myself a Kinect and a few games- Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, Dance Central 2, and Zumba Rush. For the past 4 days, I have worked out everyday, and ENJOYED IT. But it's not enough. I'm still eating pretty badly. So I'm back here for support and motivation.
My first goal is to lose 10 pounds and I will give myself six weeks to do it. That's not my ultimate goal but I get overwhelmed easily so I'm setting a small goal for myself to start.
So... hi everybody. I'm so happy to be a part of the team.
