I'm going to have to check out the Zoom... I have to stand with my legs against the couch to be seen by my Kinect! Hope you're enjoying the game you bought... I went with DC2 and LOOOOVE it. I'm also waiting for Zumba Rush, like you are. Zumba is so much fun!!!
I have the Zoom and it really doesn't do much for me. It blurs the image so my little blob in the bottom corner is now a real blob, with the Zoom is also had a hard time recognizing me when it does the facial recognition thing. I took it off and could see myself a lot clearer. I might try it again at a later date after we take the tree down and I can re-arrange my furniture again.
To compensate for a smaller room, there is an attachment called a Zoom that just clips to the front of the Kinect and enables play in a much smaller space. I also play in the back of a room rather in the middle so my husband got me one but I haven't tried it yet.

Thank you all for your recommendations. I ended up getting Your Shape:Fitness Evolved 2012. I used it for the 1st time today and it some getting used to as I have a small living room and to be as far away as I need to I have to stand where the Christmas tree is in order to see my feet but the arm exercises worked really well. I did all the warm-ups and a couple of the exercises. I plan on mixing up my gym-day-off workouts between the Kinect and the Wii.
Hello and welcome to the team....glad to have you join us....I especially like the Dance Central games because they're plain ole fun.....and if you're not a dancer just watching yourself try and do the move make it so fun....plus you're working the entire body you gotta love that

Welcome to the team and to Kinect! To help this group out, I have the Kinect review site at kinectreviewsandinterviews.com , but I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have about particular games. This weekend I hope to be posting "The Best Kinect Games of 2011".
I have high hopes for the new Zumba game. The first one wasn't bad, but there is room for improvement, especially in menu options and navigation. If you like Zumba already, the game is pretty fun.
As for dancing, you can't go wrong with Dance Central 2 or Just Dance 3. I am still hoping to take the time to write up the comparisons, but I feel DC2 is more serious, where JD3 is more light-hearted. If you want to learn club-like dance moves, DC is the best. If you want to goof off and have a wide variety of songs, then JD3 seems great. There are other dance games out there and some of them are actually pretty good.
Last, but certainly not least, if you have your Xbox hooked up online, there are a ton of FREE demos to Kinect games. You never know what you'll find that you like.
So try out the free stuff and ask any questions you want. We're here to help and have fun!
Hi, I'm Kari and I got a Kinect for Christmas but so far the only game I have is the one that came with it and so far I really like it. I need advice about what games to buy, so far I know I want to get Zumba but I am waiting for Zumba: Rush to come out in February.
I am debating so many and the reviews are so back and forth so please give me your opinion of the game you play and what you like and don't like about it.
