I have the first biggest loser game that came out with the Kinect last year and it's okay - not great. My biggest gripe is aesthetic - even when I change the avatar of myself that the game uses, I still look like a three penny porker who needs dental work. It was bad enough that I had to have the boyfriend look at it (he is painfully honest at times) because I was wondering if I was having a lapse in what I really looked like and he's like Honey - no. You do not have a gut like that. I promise. And your ass is bigger.

Gotta love him.

Also, I ... I get why people think JM is amazing and awesome, but she kind of comes off as a bully and it grates on my nerves. Those things are really small when it comes to the big picture - the game itself is fine though I really don't know that I see the point in the competition part. It works, but it is a little silly.

The exercises themselves I don't have too much of a problem with.

It's called a Work Out, not a Wish Out. Get moving.

I'm joining the team because a Kinect (with fitness games) is on my Christmas wishlist. I'm hoping to learn more about what others are using, so if I buy games I have a better idea of what to get. I'm thinking about Your Shape Fitness (don't know if I want 1 or 2), Jillian Michael's Adventures, and maybe one or two dancing games (I love to dance but am not a good dancer). Not sure what else is out there. Have heard negative things about Biggest Loser and don't know much about EA. I hope to be on the team for a while (as I hope I really do get a Kinect).

update 12/25/11 - Got the Kinect with Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, Kinect Adventures, Gunstringer, and Fruit Ninja. Had fun playing Kinect Adventures tonight although at the basic level I felt like I was getting a good warmup but not much else. Still fun! Look forward to sharing more with all of you as I get into the new world of Kinect gaming.

thanks for the welcome :) I'm slightly out of commission due to that stupid hip injury, but i'm seeing a chiropractor on Monday and this weekend I'll try to do some strength training on my upper body and leave my hips out of the equation.

this getting old thing? kind of for the birds.

Hi folks :) I've been using the Kinect for a couple weeks - Biggest Loser - and so far, mostly so good. (I seem to have messed up my hip though which is putting a damper on my day)

I don't have any other titles that are geared towards fitness. The Boyfriend has UFC I think, but he and his friends used it all of twice before opting to go back to the rum. We play a lot of video games in our house though :)

I'm hoping to pick up some other Kinect workout in the new year, but for now I'm happy with the one game I have.

HI im a newbie.
my eldest brother purchased a kinect of for his xbox along with just dance 3. well I've played it twice and both times I let at least an hour go by without realizing and I was dripping in sweat. I haven't felt like that since I used to actually dance when I was younger. I plan on getting my own console and games during the upcoming holiday, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for games? i'm also getting a bike since i like the outdoors, what other activities, if any, does anyone use along with their kinect?
