Hi ladies -
I am not yet a CrossFit gal but looking into it. I am eating clean for health, weight management, blood numbers, and hopefully help my thyroid out. I want to get fit and toned and stronger.
CrossFit scares the sweet jeebies out of me! I am almost 50. I walk 3-5 times a week for an hour of more at a rate of 4.5-5.5 mph. I loathe running - all my bits just chunk up and down and feel super uncomfortable. I have not really jogged or swum or any track and field for almost30 years. I was a professional belly dancer for about 10 years but slowly gasped out of that with three babies
I want to check out CrossFit more but things like this on the webpage of a local to me group just don't feel good: At XXXXXXXXXX we want motivated individuals. People who are going to try hard everyday. You need to agree to give me an 100% effort. Donít waste my time or yours by going through the motions. You have to train hard to get results. If you canít commit to giving 100% call me when you change your mind.
Yikes! I am scared to give it a try. Ack!
I suppose I should just put my big girl panties on and give it a go. Until I then I am doing squats, crunches, push ups, and attempting a pull up every other day.
Any help or advice appreciated!
