Hey ladies. I'm so very new to CF and planning to get started come Monday morning, so any suggestions or tips would be delightful! A little about me: I'm 30 years old, have two little kiddies, married, live in NJ, have been using Insanity since September (on and off now), I love Zumba, I have about a solid 15lbs to lose still, and I am ready to be a CrossFit Woman!
I signed my husband and myself up for the Tough Mudder in October 2012 and quickly realized that I was out of my league. I talked it up with a few of the Tough Mudder veterans and they all suggested CrossFit training. I knew nothing about it, so I googled it and now I'm ready to get started. My hubby will be joining me throughout the summer months (work is too hectic now) and I want to be in amazing shape by then plus be able to hold my own against him once he starts. Yeah I'm a bit competitive!
So yuppers. Monday starts my training, to which my knowledge is limited. I'll be learning as I go. Going with a Paleo-ish nutrition plan, something that's still family friendly! Any suggestions on that would be great too! I'm super excited to get started and find my place in the CF community!
