I started doing Crossfit when I was about 40lbs heavier, I am running, biking and doinng CF to take it off so I can't do a lot of the exercises RX to begin with. I have been doing it for 4 months now though so I am starting to see progress. This is my progression thus far with pull ups.
Jumping Pull Ups (stand on a box or plates and hang then jump your chin over the bar).- I did these for maybe 2 weeks.
Ring Rows (If you can't do it off of a box or horizontal you lean back as far as you can and pull yourself up.-I did these for the better part of 3 months.
Pull ups with 2 thick bands (tan and blue)- I use my knee not my foot, but you can start with your foot.- This is my current level.
Then from there you band down, my box has maybe 7 levels of bands.

Hi, I am new and looking for some guidance. I have a new goal of being able to do a pull up. I have alot of weight to loose and I am looking for exercise to help get me to my goal of a pull up, Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks
