Hi All! Glad I found this group, I just started Crossfit last week and am excited about getting in better shape. I have never been very athletic and would go through spurts of "working out", but about a year ago decided I was sick of being out of shape and would like to set some new fitness goals for myself. So for the last year I have been involved in different activities like running, Bikram Yoga, Zumba, and doing some light weight lifting at the gym.
Crossfit will definitely give me the structure and encouragement I need to really get in shape, I have already seen what I considered to be in "decent shape" for me is really nothing when it comes to these classes, ha ha ha :)
