Welcome, Emily!

I love your energy and enthusiasm. I too love/hate crossfit.

I am great on getting in my exercise, but really stink at keeping my nutrition inline. I am refocusing on that right now.

Let's keep working on our goals. I too have some big dreams for crossfit.

I'm so excited to find this team!
I started an 8 week Crossfit bootcamp on Jan 2nd of 2010. I did it for 5 months strait, 3-4x a week. While I loved (hated) every minute of it, it only succeeded in gaining me 20lbs! ACK! It wasnt CF's fault of course. The super switch from lazy to Crossfitter ramped up my appetite to that of a food hoarder. Yuck. I was hungry ALL THE TIME. Didnt know squat about primal/paleo at the time.

So I took the rest of the year off. Which brings me to Jan 1, 2011. I went to the doc for my annual and was horrified to see the scale read 298lbs!

So I immediately launched myself back into the CF program and as of May 20th, I'm down 24lbs. I'm doing a semi-primal diet, no soda/fast food and crossfitting as often as I can.

I have a lot of goats (goals) with these WODS. I cant do a real pullup, a real pushup, I cant run a full mile, and muscle ups and kipping pullups are a thing of my dreams.

I keep pictures of beautiful crossfit women on the back of my CF binder where I track my WODS. Whenever I feel like I cant do another frigging deadlift, I glance at my binder and they motivate me to push it.

I am excited about this page so that I can share my successes (and failures) with other women who understand, literally, exactly where I'm coming from. I am super excited to get to know all of you!!!
