Hope you are feeling better! Don't be nervous about joining the group. I felt the same way. I was very comfortable in my regular gym, but thought I would be the "old lady weakling". I was very nervous the first visit until I saw that there was a wide range of people of different fitness levels and ages in the same group. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Hi Ladies. I just found this group today and thought I'd join. I do have to tell you that I do not do crossfit - yet! My first crossfit goal is to join the crossfit gym here in town. I have many friends who do it and who swear by it. I've been interested in joining crossfit since last spring and am finally going to get off my butt and do it. I am currently recovering from bronchitis, and as soon as I quit hacking I'm going over to the gym to sign up. Today I actually called and spoke to them so I am getting closer to meeting that first goal lol. I am a little nervous to join as all the women I know doing it are in the most amazing shape (that's why I want to join too!). I have a lot of weight to lose but am nervous at how inadequate I am going to feel when starting. I also plan to join the "Barbell Betty" group at this gym too and can't wait to begin training. Looking forward to being a member of this group - I'll be back once I've joined!
