Welcome to our team!
I have been a caregiver for my husband for over 10 years...he was born with Cerebral Palsy.
I know how hard life with constant fatigue can be... I was diagnosed hypothyroid 5 years ago, and am now in the process of being checked for sleep apnea, both of which cause fatigue.
Constant pain isn't easy to live with either.

Anyways, please fell free to join us on our team chat thread!

Good to 'meet' you!
Becky

Hi, I'm fairly new to Sparks. I officially joined at the end of July but have been adding new habits slowly. We just finished the first week of classes this past week and so I suppose I'm ready to be a little more active.

I have a very full life. I have a full-time job. I have a five-year old son who just started kindergarten and a nineteen-year old who's staring his sophomore year in college. I am a caregiver for my husband who has been on full disabilty for 7 years and lives with symptoms of daily pain and fatigue.

I've struggled with my weight (a) all my adult life, (b) for the past 19 years, (c) for the past 7 years, (d) all of the above. The answer is "D" But I recently realized that I am the person who sets the agenda in my household and I can arrange my schedule and habits to address my health. So that is my goal: to do a little self-care in the form of good nutrition, walking, and some weight loss.

I'll appreciate the chance to chat with others and get some good advice along the journey.

Kate
