Hello, I've recently started my journey and have found one of the biggest changes I've made other than intentional movement has been the change in what I'm eating. I hope by joining this group to expand my knowledge of food and find a few friends along the way.
Growing up I was never taught about food, I come from a plus sized family and healthy or nutrition was never discussed. The focus was always treats and flavors and reasons to eat unhealthy or processed foods.
I don't want this for myself, I love fresh foods and honestly think if I had more knowledge of how they help my body and how to prepare them I would do perfectly fine eating whole healthy foods.
