The greatest act can be one little victory ...Celebrate the moment as it turns into one more. Another chance at victory another chance to score. The measure of the moment is a diff'rence of degree. Just one little victory, a spirit breakin' free. One little victory. - Rush

emoticon to the Eating Whole Foods Team. Spark People is a really good place to be and learn from articles to post of team members and yourself. Keep logging in, tracking nutrition and fitness, setting goals and reading.

Look at this as a life style change, and what you will learn will help you live a healthier life and enjoy activities.

Good Luck. God Bless.

Yeah - I think it works for me. It might be hard to adjust to it if you're not already a vegetarian or vegan. For me, it just involves cutting out processed foods and sugar, eating a lot more vegetables, and cooking with a lot less oil. I have a lot of heart disease and strokes in my family history and from what I've read (although I'm certainly not an expert) this sort of eating is good to combat those problems.

I have been working for a while now to move my vegetarianism back towards fruits and vegetables from the starchetarianism it had morphed into. My method has been to use fresh chopped vegetables like sprinkles and to toss them with a generous hand: spinach/green onion/tomato/red onion confetti.
