Hello! I've been on SP for awhile but haven't really done much with it. I'm trying to get more involved with the hope that it will keep me motivated and accountable. :)
On the whole food front; we've been slowly adding more and more whole foods to our family's diet for a few years. I grind all of our flour fresh from whole grain berries (wheat, rye, barley, etc). I cook most of our food from scratch including all of our bread and baked goods. In the grain department we've been doing well eating the whole food.
My birthday is this week and my dh bought me a Vitamix as my gift! I'm so excited and I've been grinding up anything I can think of in there. lol We've always loved smoothies and soups but I've killed many blenders and maimed my Bosch blender attachment repeatedly. We're hoping the Vitamix can keep up with me. :)
Anyway, I'm excited to have found this team and I look forward to more ideas (and continued motivation) for keeping up the whole food streak in our lifestyle. After all that blending yesterday I had more energy than I knew what to do with and I want to keep it up!
