Hi, folks. I consider myself to have become a fairly healthy lifestyler - not running any marathons, not a vegan or on a highly restricted calorie diet - but I swim for 45 minutes 2 - 3 times a week, walk or bike to work (30 mins or 20 mins round trip, respectively), water and seltzer are my beverages of choice; I always eat breakfast, avoid transfats like the plague ( I read labels, even though it's become more difficult since the print has gotten smaller over the years...); yet I remain 50 pounds overweight. (My top weight has been +80, and I've been there several times - have gotten 20 - 30 lbs off via Weight Watchers and South Beach, but I don't seem to be motivated to sustain either program as a lifestyle....) - so here I am, not wanting to invest my hard-earned money into websites and programs that take me so far....I find that I struggle just to maintain being this overweight! Yes, I love to eat, and I know I can and should eat smaller portions - but I generally make healthy choices, and it's not as if I'm eating 2 and 3 helpings of anything - the only prioirites greater for me now than getting to a healthier and more attractive weight is sustaining my mental health, my career, and my relationships. I'm ready to give it another try.....
