Thank you, I know that I and only I can make this happen. My daughter-in-law gave me an incentive to walk last night, she said that the park I walk in, she runs in, has had a deer in it the last two days. I love deer, so I guess that I am going to have to get myself up there and start walking because that sure would be an added benefit. Hope you have a healthy weekend.
Thanks Carol, today has been a better day even though I did get sausage, biscuits and gravy on the way home from taking my granddaughter to school. I didn't finish it, put some in the garbage can. I just read a quote on a blog that really hit home, are you interested or committed. I really think that I am just interested right now but I am going to keep with it until I get committed.
Thanks, it was all good advice but I didn't do any of it. We have a new Paula Dean buffet near us and we went to try it out today, delicious, but bad. If I could just get motivated to walk, I know it would help and water, I will probably never get that down, I am just not a big drinker but I have improved on drinking better choices in the last few months, first I started drinking sweet tea at McDonalds, just to get the liquids in, then I switched to unsweet tea and now I am doing more water. I know that I must sound like someone who wants to do this but don't put any effort into it, but I am actually thinking about the right things all the time and I know with determination and starting to walk, I can accomplish this. Good evening, hope you have had a great day. Mine has not been such a good and healthy day. I am sitting here right now with a stuffed uncomfortable stomach. Went to my brothers house and ate peanut brittle until it ran out my ears, then went out to eat and had fried chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw and even started the meal off with chips, salsa and cheese dip. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.
Thank you so much for your cheering, were you a cheerleader in high school. My scale showed that I gained some of what I lost but I am not going to get upset, just keep on plugging away. I know it would help if I could get to the park to walk, course nothing is stopping me, but me. Hope you have a great week, keep up the good work, exercise and eat healthy.
Hi there, thank you for the encouragement, I am better today. However, I don't know if the weight loss is going to be any better next time, I have had a couple of just okay days, first a college football game, tailgating and today a bridal shower but I know that this is a lifetime way of eating, so I will just keep chugging. Hi Carol, how are you today? Thanks for adding me as your friend. Do you have a Cheddar's restaurant where you live? I ate lunch there with my husband, daughter and son-in-law today. They let me get a childs meal and I got marinated grilled chicken served over rice, steamed vegetables which consisted of carrots and broccoli and it was plenty and only $4.99. I didn't even eat the rice. Any food advice you have for me will be greatly appreciated. Have a great evening.
You can do it, you have shown that. I am sure that it has been a long journey, but it was the right one. Time goes by anyway and you are so much better off than if you stayed the same or gained. Hope your health is better now. Take your time and sooner or later you will reach your goal.

Hi, I am trying to beat this life long weight problem, well maybe not life long, I was actually tiny until about the eighth grade, then had my tonsils out, maybe a coincidence, but started gaining, have often thought, maybe I should have kept my tonsils, ha ha. I have lived almost 45 years dieting. I am working to get back to my pre marriage days of 120. I like to read, scrapbook and would like to learn how to quilt. I also enjoy facebook like so many others, too bad that I don't like to walk instead. I am hoping for your support to get me out there walking again and watching those calories.
