Hey y'all my name is Joy. I'm in North Mississippi and am 25 years old. My goal is to lose 60 lbs by my 26th birthday (next April). I've lost around 20 pounds before but have gained it all back since getting married and starting teaching around 3 years ago. My husband has been successful with weightloss before but sadly we enabled each other. This time he has lost over 65 pounds and that motivated me to get off my butt and do something to make my life better. I've recently gotten back into photography and would like to get in better shape to increase my effectiveness in that area of my life as well as across the board.
I've been teaching junior high history for 3 years (well 2 1/2) and that has been good and bad. Some days it has helped keep me active but some days the stress and headaches have caused me to want to come home and sit on my butt. I'm currently working on my Master's Degree online but I am also taking part of my summer break to refocus on me.
