Thanks all for the welcome! Today was an okay day all the way up to 2:00 PM....Then I ate 1 pop tart (not on my nutrition plan for the day), and a peppermint patty! Ran up and down the stairs 20 times, slapped on my bodybugg and got back in it. Finishing my 6th cup of water right this minute. =)
Welcome back!! from another preschool teacher. I rarely have snack with the students unless it is veggie sticks. I keep almonds around for my drive home from school so that I am not too famished when I arrive home (or I will eat enough for 2 dinners). Make sure to have a good breakfast with plenty of protein and also protein at lunch. That helps me stay away from the snacking - at least most of the time.

! I struggle with snacking at school too! I teach high school, but I'm always hungry at the end of the school day. I have a basket that I keep full with healthy alternatives to my favorite candy bars (Reese's PB cups and M&Ms) - Larabars has so many great flavors and Clif bars are very satisfying (white chocolate macedamia is a favorite). Even pb/choc granola bars are better alternative to candy bar and still satisfy my "sweet tooth". That changed has helped me so much to make better decisions - especially when I have to face the music and put in my nutriution tracker! Good luck!
Managed to put on a little weight over the holidays, now working on trying to lose that plus my other weight! UGH! Suggestion: try taking some fruit and other healthy foods you like to have as a snack instead of the candy bar.
Here I am again! Trying to start over and lose the weight that I had already lost, but managed to put back on! About 30 lbs to lose, and work is not making it any easier. I teach pre-k at an elementary school in Florida, and I absolutely love what I do. However, I find myself wanting to eat whenever the kids eat!! Then I "reward" myself with a candy bar (and look forward to that reward all day). My goal for this week is to take my big water bottle and down it before snack. Wish me luck!
