Great ideas! I bought some 1 cup containers to help with portions and snacks. I've been tracking my food without really making wise choices. What an eye opener! I have one word...carb-aholic big time! I'm going to work on better lunches at school. And no, our cafeteria at school doesn't have salads and is really kind of awful.

Hi SYDMUS. I also do technology, but at the elementary level (pre-k - 5th). Does your school serve salads? I also try to plan out for the week on the weekends. Try using the nutrition tracker, that helps me be a little more accountable for what I eat.
I usually try to plan, shop, and cook on the weekend. I pack lunches and snacks in individual containers so they are ready to grab each morning. Sometimes I take a lap around the halls if I have a few minutes. All those steps add up!

Hello everyone! I've been a member of Spark People for awhile but, I'm really just now getting started. I work with technology in a 6-8 grade middle school. I get quite a few steps in daily but, I need to do more plus work on my nutrition. One of my biggest problems is the that after a long day at school, I'm so tired the last thing I want to do is cook dinner. I'm making a plan but, any and all ideas are welcomed.
