DESIREEINCA I have a big problem with working out a lot and then even gaining a pound or two. Building muscle may be why it's happening, when your body looks better and thinner but the scale still jumps up to punch you in the face I want to scream. But it is heathy weight gain, even if it does drive me batty!

Me, too. I am maintaining. I did Nutrisystem for a month, stuck to it, and only managed to lose 4 lbs.

As much as I hate to say this, but maybe you've hit that dreaded "plateau". Keep doing the right things; eating healthy, portion control, exercise and drinking plenty of water, and the scales will catch up with you eventually.
Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but just think of how buff and sexy you're becoming!!!

NO ONE BOSSES ME AROUND! HAH! YOU TELL ME TO DO SOMETHING AND I DO QUITE THE OPPOSITE! So I'm here..am also "maintaining" my weight...could have to do with the wine I consume at night... grrrrr. I work out five days a week and am quite buff now.. but not shedding a pound. Am thinking that perhaps I should quit trying to lose weight and try out for the 49ers? I feel I could sack a quarterback quite effectively....lol

I wish it worked that way! Mmmm, I just couldn't see my DH telling me I like you fat, don't lose the weight. I'd be like yeah-gimme those corn dogs, french fries and those elephant ears...lol!

I have a rebellious streak in me--- telling me not to do something is a sure way to get me to do it. Maybe I should have someone tell me NOT to lose weight???? Ya think it'd work that way?

Be it far from me to respond to something I have been asked not to respond to. So I'll just think out loud..... awesome that she who asks for no response has been able to maintain her weight loss. I have been maintaining mine since I started - right at the beginning - SIGH! .

I'm maintaining my weight too! We are both really good! I'm working harder at maintaining mine- after all I have 60 extra pounds to take care of. This makes me- what, MORE successful? Oh, yeah. Right. You are gonna fit right in.

Hi!
I'd like to think that being sarcastic is somewhat like being a smart ass. It usually is in response to a dumb ass question or comment. It is also not what you say but what you don't or sometimes just how you say it.
If anyone cares or is still reading, I joined sparkle a while back and am totally maintaining my weight. Well maybe that's not so hot because I need to lose weight still.
