Our library website does have the option of looking at a specific Library. The search box lets you list either the author or title, then you have a list of the Libraries to choose from, then you click on search. It makes it very easy and convenient. You should mention it to your Library. Our Library link is http://www.warrenlibrary.org if they wanted to check it out.

I do like visiting the other brances to browse sometimes, but usually I spend one lunch break during the week looking up books I might like on the internet and requesting them on the library website. They don't have everything in audio, of course, but when it is at another branch they are very fast about getting them delivered to my library. I just wish th website would more easily let me search for just audiobooks or even just browse what is at my library.

We have a county wide system, too. I should get myself off to the other branches.

Yes, I would hate to have to buy all of these books considering how fast I can go through them. At least the books are a lot cheaper when you buy them now too. Just for giggles I just looked up the earliest amazon audiobook order I could find(from 2001) and it was for $35 for an audiobook on multiple CDs! Eeek! Glad that one was a Christmas gift and not for myself!
I have been going to the library a lot more, but it does require more advance planning to get the books in from other branches. I definitely can put up with not having a perfect selection when the cost is free. I am lucky to live where the library system is pretty big, though, because our library is county-wide, not just for the suburb-city where I live.

I get mine from the Library, too. The problem is they don't have a very large selection. I can order them through the Interlibrary Loan. But, it takes a while for them to come in. Oh well, the wait is worth it. I wouldn't want to have to buy all the books.

Welcome to our group, Judy. I get my audiobooks from my library. I have about six books on my Sanza mp3 player. I listen to the books while walking my dog.
Right now I'm listening to "Girl in Translation". I listened to "The Help" a while back and loved the different "voices". It helped me keep the characters separate.

Thank you!!
Right now I'm listening to ONE SUMMER by David Baldacci. It's more of a teen story than adult. But, it's good. I like his court room stories.
Just finished listening to THE HELP for the 2nd time. That is a very good book. I hope to see the movie soon. I hear it's great.

Welcome! It is so great to have another audiobook addict in the group. I love to listen while walking as well. Ubfortunately with the time change I can't walk after work anymore as it is dark and cold when I get home! However, I have expanded my listening to all sorts of other times so that makes up for it!
Anyways it is nice to meet you and make yourself at home here!
