Welcome and good luck! I also have an autoimmune condition (psoriasis) and I've had a great experience combining type O ER4YT with Paleo eating style to treat my breakouts. The closer you follow it (making meat your primary source of calories, limiting grain and dairy) the better you'll feel. The weight will melt off and you'll have plenty of energy.

Do your best to eat from organic sources: grass-fed beef, organic non-GMO produce. Eliminating those unneeded toxins will help with autoimmune symptoms too.

Just started yesterday. My problems are hyperthyroidism from autoimmune disease and osteoarthritis. I only bought the BTO Food, Bev and Supplement List book. I am somewhat familiar with the E4YBT concepts and mostly wanted to dive in with two feet to reduce my inflammation level and weight. I had lost 50 pounds with SP support but have gained back 15 over the winter. Had thought that spring weather would increase my activity enough to lose the 15 when another severe setback from arthritis in my hip shut me down. Hard. I'm hoping that following the diet very strictly will allow me to do the physical things I had wanted to do this year. And yes I do have a doctor's appointment but as a new patient, their first opening was June 20th...

Wish me luck!
