I'll go out and run any time it's above 40 and not pouring rain. If it's colder than that, my knees cause me huge problems while they're warming up afterwards (several hours worth of hobbling around like I'm 80+). So if it's colder than that, I run at my local indoor track. It's harder to get there, and sometimes my schedule or the weather makes it impossible, but generally I can still manage a couple each week.
This team doesn't sound very active, but I'm making it a goal to run 458 miles (to Rivendell) this year. That averages out to about 9-10 miles a week. Any walker/runner should be able to make this happen pretty easiely.
I set up a challenge at the Nike+ site, hoping to drum up some more challengers... http://nikerunning.nike.com/nikeos/p/nik eplus/en_US/plus/#//challenges/detail/ 566215036/
