Just wondering if there is a link between hormone replacement therapy and malignant melanoma. I read a few things online about it, and a Dutch study showed a higher incidence of Melanoma in women taking HRT. I've been on HRT for 9 years, but cut back to twice a week and half doses a couple of years ago. But I'm wondering if this set me up for melanoma. When women are pregnant they get those pigmented areas of skin on their face. So could the extra hormones of HRT activate the pigment cells in moles?
