That's great! It might be harder than you used to as it's been a while but do it consistent and you're back to new, hehe. The best thing about jumping rope, we don't have to spend long time doing cardio, just a short period is enough to feel the burn and sweating enough to swim thru. And we use the whole body - arms, abs, legs - and as you said, feel entire body.
Keep track your jumping with our team's goal, you can see your progress and help the team get our goal, yay!

Spark Your Day With Jumping Rope!
Lead of Jump Rope Challenge Team
Welcome to the group. Yes, jumping can be addicting especially when you get the jumper's high going. We've heard of runner's high, well, jumper's high is even better because you can achieve that in less time and less impact than running. Not to mention the benefits of pumping up the lymphatic drain from jumping up and down. If you want to keep track of your jump, please use the Team Goals where you can enter and keeping track of the number of jumps per day. All the other Spark exercises keep track of the time. But that can vary on how fast you jump. Keeping track of the numbers is a great motivator, if you need it. Good luck and enjoy.

I just picked up jumping rope about 3 days ago. It was just too hard for me to make it into the gym everyday and I was determined to find something I could do anywhere. I was reading "THE SPARK" one day and Chris Downie mentioned how he used to jump rope when he wasn't able to get into the gym. So while i was shopping the other day I picked up a rope and I feel as if i found the best piece of exercise equipment in the world. (and for just $7) As soon as I started jumping rope I was having SOOOO much fun and didn't want to stop! I'm not gonna lie though, it has been about 10 years since I have picked up a jump rope. So it's not as easy as it looks on youtube! But i still really enjoy it and I honestly feel like I'm using my entire body for this exercise :)
