Agree with SKATER787 with the combo. That's fantastic, you already in 25 without tripping - mine is more with my hair as by 20s my hairband is getting loose and I've stop and retie my hair back, hehe. Anyhow, enjoy your jumping and welcome to the team!

Welcome. When I first started and learned how to jump several years ago as an adult, I couldn't do what you did without tripping left and right. Congrats for starting up. Good combo with walking and jumping rope. If you can, join the challenge and keep track of your jumps.
Hey guys! I am new to Spark People and new to jump roping! I bought my first rope two days ago. The first day I could not use it because it kept coiling back up on me again...but last night I was able to jump for the first time. I went for a 45 minute brisk walk, then came home and did four sets of 25!! I stumbled a couple of times on the first round, but the other rounds I was able to go straight through! I am excited to get stronger and to really learn how to do neat things with the rope. I appreciate this team and I am eager to look around and see who is here...and invest in the resources that are here!
