I had a beaded one as kid, but I always broke the beads. This time I got just a plain rope. Well, it's "confetti" blue colored, but there aren't any handles, counters, weights, or whatever makes a jump rope a "speed rope." Just a plain old rope. I thought it would be a good place to start.

Well not really, actually it is like my third rope, I just haven't used any of them I bought an actual,"rope" rope, and my daughter said it was to light to work. This weekend a found one of the beaded ropes and plan on using it for the first time tonight! I can't wait! I bought my daughter one to, thought instead of taking turns we could jump together! Hope this helps me lose weight! Wish me luck!
