I don't know if they're still in business, but I finally found a way to keep at jumping rope: Jump Snap. Handles with parts of rope to make it feel as though I am jumping with a full rope. Now no tripping. I can add weights to it--well, one day.
HOWEVER, I'm still not consistent. I've got an AeroJump DVD--serious jumpers with 12 levels. I can do level one--about 20 minutes with warm-up.
THUS, I am happy to have found this group after doing the 10" online video for rope jumping. The challenge to jump for 15" per day is a sound one. I do like the idea of being able to keep track.
