I'm Juice. And I just started jumping. I only do 10 minutes a few times a week for now, and when I do, I don't jump the whole 10 minutes...I am 220 lbs at 5'7", and my knees will not be happy if I jump too much.
So I walk in place to warm up for a few minutes, jump for 15-30 seconds, walk for 30-60 seconds.
And so far I haven't face planted.
But I prefer to jump barefoot on carpet...shoes just seem to get in the way.
Anyone jump barefoot? I land on the balls of my feet anyway (that sentence originally came out as "I land on my balls anyway"
), so the impact isn't too bad. Keep the knees and hips springy...
