I think they are both great. In cross-country we had to do jumpropes 100 a day the first week, then we increased by 10 each week and got up to 200 something by the end of the season, but we also ran or jogged about 5 miles a day. jumping is the equivilant to running or jogging uphill in the effects it has on your calves, but is better for you ankles. I think you need a good mixture of both. good luck :)

Hello! I'm new on the team. And I'd also like to ask if anyone knows if Jumping is better than running or is a matter of opinion?
