I bought a jump rope last summer and began jumping on my patio in the morning. At first I couldn't do more than 5 in a row before tripping up. Within a week, I could do about 75 before tripping. I was shocked at how hard the aerobic workout is. Did I really do this for hours as a kid?
After a month, I went back to my bad habits. I gained another 10 pounds. Last week I decided to rejoin SparkPeople and get serious. I'm looking forward to the next jump rope challenge. Right now it is frozen solid outside, so I'll have to find space inside my house to jump.
Goal #1: 192 by 08/01/11.
Goal #2: 165 by 04/27/12.
Goal #3: 155 by 08/01/12.
