. I'm a newbie myself and have yet to master the jumping like a pro (I'm in my baby shoes right now lol), but seeing today's feature of the jump rope cardio workout made me want to get more serious about it again.
I'm new too! I tried the Spark People 10 mn video online for Jump Roping, SP online video for general cardio, and other one for glutes. This is a great way to work out with a personal trainer right at home! I didn't have a jump rope but I still got a great workout! Now I need to work in some strength training.
i just watched the 10-min jump rope cardio workout on "today's feature" www.sparkpeople.com/resource/Fitness _a rticles.asp?id=1056 i'm super excited to do it tonight. i have always wanted to get into jump roping (have 2 ropes, and a video!) but it just didn't take off with me. part of the reason is that it sucks jump roping inside my house on carpeted flooring - and somewhat embarrassed to go do it outside lol. this video looks like it will do the trick for me
