Hi everyone,

thanks for welcoming me to the team :)

Had about a week where I pretty much didn't do any exercise to stress my knees and they are all better now. This time I'll take it much slower and make a slower progression with my jumping programme.

The length of the rope (found this in SP's articles - "Jumping Rope for Fitness" - is also in my SP favourites if you'd like the direct link)

Your Height Rope Length
Under 5' 7'
5' to 5' 5" 8'
5' 6" to 6' 9'
Over 6' 10'

I'm 5'7" so I'll need a 9 foot rope.

Hope you find out how to adjust it.

I am new to jumping too. I read an sp article called Jumping Rope for Fitness and it helped me form a plan to help train me for jumping so I wouldn't over do it.

Hi all,

just wanted to say hello to everyone :)

Have just started jumping and am so excited about it!! The only thing is that I think I overdid it a little bit the first few weeks so now both my knees really hurt and I guess I'll have to take a short break. Is very frustrating when all I really wanna do is JUMP!!! :)

Does anyone else get real sore knees? Was thinking of getting an exercise mat to jump on instead of the carpet. Can anyone recommend this - you think it'll work?

Am very much up for any jump challenge - which ones are going on at the moment?

Am looking very much forward to getting to know everyone.

Have a great weekend :)
