This is so true. I usually do a lot of 80s rock, but I'm weird like that. But it's also interesting to have songs that change tempo and require you to change up your routine a bit. Seems to make it less tedious to me.
I have just recently began jump roping, and I have found that it helps a lot to have a great song to jump to. If you can time your song, so you know when it gets to certain spots for starting or stopping your interval training it helps the time fly by.
