Hi! I'm a 27 year old single mom. I work and am going to school full time to get a Masters in Nursing. So I'm a little strapped for time/exercise ideas. Because I'm a single mom and my schedule is killer, my only real exercise option is something at home. So I bought a jump rope thinking it would be a quick easy way to get back in shape. After my first jumping session, I think that I was right except for the 'easy' part. Apparently I need leg muscles to keep jumping for more than 2 minutes. Who knew? :) So here I am, looking for some jumping buddies who might be having the same issues that I am. I'm not looking to lose any weight, I just want to get healthy again and exercise is the only thing that seems to clear my head.
So here's to jumping rope and building some leg muscles! Yay!
