Today was my first day and I lasted 3 min. I've had my jump rope for over a year but never used it, thinking it wasn't enough of a work out. Boy was I wrong!!!!! I have a bad leg so it was more of a challenge then I expected. But together we will all be jumping rope like it's nobodies business!!!!
all it takes is one step to start your journey
The first time I tried...I did about 60 (not non stop)
But on Friday...Did 100 WooHoo! (not non stop)
But, I am working on it!
Who is with me!

I have the same problems. I am always ashamed to post my jumps because I can't jump for long periods of time. I just do what I can.
Today I will be and do the best that I can. I will not make excuses for the things that I are within my control. And for those that are not, I will learn to improvise. ~YANDI

I'm with you. I am not in great shape but still try. I jumprope for a few days then stop for a few then go back at it. My legs get very sore as well as my arms.
Hi! I'm a 27 year old single mom. I work and am going to school full time to get a Masters in Nursing. So I'm a little strapped for time/exercise ideas. Because I'm a single mom and my schedule is killer, my only real exercise option is something at home. So I bought a jump rope thinking it would be a quick easy way to get back in shape. After my first jumping session, I think that I was right except for the 'easy' part. Apparently I need leg muscles to keep jumping for more than 2 minutes. Who knew? :) So here I am, looking for some jumping buddies who might be having the same issues that I am. I'm not looking to lose any weight, I just want to get healthy again and exercise is the only thing that seems to clear my head.
So here's to jumping rope and building some leg muscles! Yay!
