Hi and welcome to the team. I have had shin splints in the past. It does help to alternate workouts. I do not jump on concrete because it is hard on the feet and legs. I have plywood board that I jump on.

Hey my name is Christyn... I LOVE this idea! I will keep the main board posted on how I am going... I just wanted to ask does anyone here get shin splints? There should be a shin splint support group I reckon! I am running to help my bones strengthen and I intermittently get shin splints... I keep telling myself though that eventually I will have healthy strong bones! Anyway, I will jump rope on my running off-days otherwise I think my skeletal system will collapse!
