Welcome woodenbird!! Its very cool that you made the decision to get healthy and in shape!! If you start doing an exercise routine it will help with your stress level!! Believe me I know!! Good luck on your journey!! If you get sruck or need some motivation just post it and you will get plenty of responses to give you the push you need!! We are all here for each other!!!

There are many workout videos, Coach Nicole does the illustrations on Fitness. These are free for you to view and to exercise with. Beginning and advanced;
Resistance Bands and Weights, Stability Ball.
There is also a walking, jogging program, and a Fitness tracker to help you keep a record and make adjustments as needed.

Just dropping the "hello, this is me" intro post! I'm a student in Nova Scotia, trying to get fit. I don't need to lose weight, but I am seriously out of shape - no stamina at all! I want to change that.
I like to think I eat pretty healthy as it is, but sometimes I break down and break out the pizza pockets if I'm in a rush (which is pretty rare, anyway, since I only buy things like that when they go on for a really good sale).
I struggle with mild (undiagnosed) depression that gets worse with stress, so sometimes that is an obstacle when I try to make lifestyle changes. But I've recently made some big changes in my life that will hopefully help me get healthier, physically and emotionally.
Also, I love to knit! I'm on ravelry with the same name, :-)
