Hello, and welcome to the team, Pete. Another idea for cooking is to make up a big batch and later freeze it, making sure you label the bag with the date on it. That way if you're running late, or just tired, you can toss it in the microwave and you've got a healthy meal, not one that's pre-packaged with all the added crap. Hope this helps, Heather

The slow cooker has became my best friend. One of my family's favorite is steak in Lipton onion soup mix. Just put your steak, water and soup mix in the slow cooker early that morning and it is done by dinner time - roast is good too - same process but add veggies. We have also make chicken noodle soup in the slow cooker - cook your chicken in the slow cooker until it is done then bone it(I put mine on the night before and bone it that morning)-add celery and carrots and let it cook through the day about an hour before dinner and you noodles.

I hope this helps!

How do you guys cope in everyday life to cook a healthy meal.
Does anybody have any good ideas that do not take hours to prepare?
During the week I am out of the house between 5.45 AM and 6.15 PM. Have recently (Honest) invested in a microwave but ready meals are neither nice, nor healthy.
Please advice.
Cheers,
Pete
