Welcome to the group. I feel your pain I have 3 energetic boys 12,6,5 and I know how you feel. One thing I was told a few years back is that my not being able to do everything for my boys is actually teaching them to be more independent and thoughtfull of others. Never feel like your a bad parent because you have an illness.

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. I am Susan from Massachusetts. In September 2007 I received a diagnosis of Autoimmune Hepatitis with Lupus. I am a single, 41 year old mom with a 5 1/2 year old son & he has more energy than seems humanly possible! He is my gift & I pray every night to be the best mom I can be. Part of that requires loosing 100 lbs. Between my weight & illnesses I just can't keep up with my son. I can't control my illness. In fact, as you all know, I can't even predict from which direction my disease will hit next but I can do something about my weight. But, MAN, is it hard. I am an emotional eater, a stress eater & I have been living that way for as long as I can remember. I'm reaching out because I need help & support & communication with people who get my situation. I'm more than willing to give it back too. I'm looking forward to changing my relationship with food & am interested to learn from others. Thanks for listening!
