I love this diet plan! Of course you can lose on the Mediterranean Diet. It's just plain good and healthy food. It's nothing special. It's a style of eating.You plug in the meal plan in your tracker and your good to go! It's a little harder, because SparkPeople doesn't have the meal plan already made out, but I think it's worth it. It taste delicious, but that just happens to be my taste in food. I've lost 10 lbs of of it. I have other issues that makes it really hard for me to lose weight. I'm just now going to see a nutritionist, but it has nothing to do with the Mediterranen Diet.Try it! You'll just love it!

Been reading alot about the Medeterranean eating style. In fact there's article in Woman's World Mag (dtd 6/3/13) stating that a person can lose 9lbs a week !!!! (Which I'm sure is not all true). But I was wondering if anyone has been having any luck with weight loss on this eating plan. I do love that you eat whole foods and use alot of spices. And this is also a good way for me to make sure that I get plenty of fruits & veggies in my diet and not processed "100" calorie snacks, etc. Would welcome any feedback. Thanks
