This is the place! The Mediterranean Diet is not only tasty, but it's heart healthy! The American Heart Association advocates this diet. The American Diabetes Association does, also. There is an e-book for about $8.00 that you can buy that has information all about it from the original authors of the diet. It also has recipes and meal plans. There are many sites you can visit that contain information on this diet, but they are not from the originators of the diet. The following links are from the originators of the Mediterranean Diet, Enrico and Valerie Forte Certified Nutrition Consultant and Health Coach. The first is the e-book and the second is the web site. You can also look it up on Wikipedia. They have good information on it, too.
