Welcome to the Team!

I'm new myself. I am still learning about the diet. I was raised pretty much in the mediteranean style of eating, but to be sure I got a book on it. There are a bunch out there. I sure like the diet, but that's my personal taste.

My whole world was upset in December when my husband passed away. I've created some goals for myself, one is to find a eating plan that I can live with. As I use up the food I have, I want to replace with foods that are better for me, so this would be a perfect time for me to find an eating plan that I can stick to for the long haul.

I have been reading all the news about the Mediterranean Diet. I don't do much cooking these days, lots of fruit and veggies sounds like it won't require a lot of cooking. I don't know anything about it, but from what I've seen it looks like something I could live with.

Is there a website I can visit that will give me some basic information to help me better understand the diet and what's needed to follow this eating plan?
